Tech provider Talos adds product design leader

Institutional-grade technology provider for digital asset trading Talos has appointed Ant Ludlow as head of product design.

The appointment follows Talos’ recently completed series A funding round as the company looks to extend its product set.

In his new London-based role, Ludlow will be responsible for overseeing the design of Talos’ product suite supporting institutional investors throughout the crypto trading lifecycle, spanning price discovery and execution, clearing and settlement, and spot, futures and foreign exchange markets.

Prior to the appointment, Ludlow led product design on Talos’ initial user interface.

He previously founded Bullet, a product design and change accelerator that is part of strategy, design and architecture firm 6point6, and co-founded Fathom, a product design business for the financial services sector, with clients covering fintech start-ups, global management consultancies and tier 1 investment banks.

Ethan Feldman, co-founder and chief technology officer at Talos, comments: “Ant is one of the most talented product designers we have ever worked with, and we are very excited to reunite with him as we build the next generation of the Talos platform.”

“Ant’s experience—which strikes the perfect balance between technical and creative—will ensure we continue to deliver products that allow our institutional clients to safely and efficiently participate in the digital asset ecosystem.”

Ludlow adds: “Through my involvement with the design of the initial Talos product, it was clear that they were on to something big. It is extremely exciting to have the opportunity to join the fantastic team and help define this new digital asset class and the ways that institutions will interact with it.”

Last month, Talos updated its digital assets platform to allow clients to define and trade synthetic pairs.
